The Turtles From Rocky Are Now 44, Still Sylvester Stallone’s Pets

With yet another sequel released just last year, Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky franchise is still going strong after more than four decades.

Sadly for the title character, the exact same can not be said for many of his companions from the first, Oscar-winning 1976 movie.

Along the way, Rock has witnessed his coach, his rival-cum-sparring-partner, his spouse and his best buddy all pass on. Thank God, then, he has his turtles.

In a current Instagram article, Rocky Balboa actor/creator Sylvester Stallone demonstrated that Rocky’s turtles — Cuff and Link — are very much still living.

Referring to them as his”original friends from the initial Rocky”, Sly also advised his followers that the pair were currently around 44-years-old.

From the first Rocky, Balboa introduced Talia Shire’s love interest, Adrian, to his”exotic creatures” in their first season.

Even though Adrian passed away someplace between Rocky V and 2006’s Rocky Balboa, Cuff and Link have stuck to a ripe old age.
