Chuck E. Cheese Employees Throw A Surprise Birthday Party To A Boy After No One Showed Up
Birthday is a real big occasion for kids and they wait for it all year long. But for this kid things could have been disappointing, if not for the employees of Chuck E. Cheese. In fact, it turned out to be one hell of a birthday.
When Angel Kazanis’ son Evan turned four years old, she wanted it to be a memorable one for the kid and invited 30 children at Chuck E. Cheese in New Jersey. Unfortunately, none showed up.
“He was looking at the door. You saw the disappointment on his face,” Kazanis said.
Luckily, it wasn’t just mother who saw the sad face, the employees knew he was disappointed and got into action.
Chuck E. Cheese worker Taylor Inzinna said:
“I immediately ran to the kitchen and was so supset … (the mother) was handling it so much better than I was. She held it together and never let Evan know for a second she was upset, which I think was super awesome.”
But, she felt like doing something and posted on social media that she wanted to give the child a party with presents. Her family and friends responded, and in a few days, she had 13 gifts.
Inzinna then contacted Kazanis and said the store wanted to do something for Evan. She asked if they could come back and didn’t speak a word about gifts. When they came back, the boy had no idea of what he was up to.
They made feel like a star and the store’s mascot gave him the gifts..
Inzinna said: “The day he came back in, seeing the smile on his face was everything I wanted … I had one goal that day, and my goal was to make sure that he left happy. And he left going, ‘Oh my God, Mom, this is the best day ever.’”
